Every step did what it said.
1. Clear what is in front and bring the app forward

deansgate --unstick 192.168.100.247
adb: already here
connect: already connected to 192.168.100.247:5555
stopped: the package installer
on the screen now: mCurrentFocus=Window{5356364 u0 com.zanpos.mobiki/com.zanpos.zanpos_app.MainActivity}
the app is running (pid 31662)

2. Read it back

The step above ends with what is on the screen now. If it says the ordering app, the board is back. If it says the app is NOT running, this was the wrong tool: use "Put the ordering app back on a screen" instead. If something is still in front, run it once more — a screen with two dialogs stacked needs two presses. This does not stop it happening again. A screen set to take new builds on its own can hang the same way mid-install; if this screen keeps doing it, turn that off in the shop's own panel, under the screen's settings.
